Anjani Devi Temple:
Anjani Devi Temple temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman’s divine mother, Anjani Devi. Anjani Devi Tapobhoomi(place of penance) is located on Neel Parvat in Haridwar. Anjani Devi temple is located on the hilltop in Haridwar Uttarakhand just near to Chandi Devi Temple. Hanuman’s mother name was Anjani Devi or Anjana as mentioned in some Puranas. That’s is why he is so called “Anjani Putra”(son of Anjani). Anjani Devi is one of the forms of other prominent Devi’s who fulfills the desire of human beings. People worship Anjani Devi for emancipation from their sins and fulfillment of their desires. According to legend Anjana Devi was an apsara born on earth due to curse and married “Kesari” a Vanarraj(monkey king).
When we come out of ropeway station we saw direction on the main board. Chandi Devi temple is located on left side of the ropeway station and the Anjani Devi temple is just 100 meters right from the ropeway station. I visited Chandi Devi temple first and then after having darshan, I headed towards Anjani Devi temple with my family.anjani Devi temple is constructed beautifully near to Chandi Devi. The temple is around 4 km from Har ki Paudi in Haridwar, know as Anjani Devi Shrine. The Gaurishankar and Neeleshwara Mahadeva temple are situated down at the foot of Shivalik hills.
The temple is located in the serene and beautiful location. As this temple is located at the top of the hill, I enjoyed a pleasant view of the surrounding during my trek to temple.

Anjani Devi temple is a 3 km trek from Chandi Ghat and is around 200 meters from Chandi Devi Shrine. Devotees can reach the temple through ropeway which starts from Gauri Shankar temple.
Anjani Devi temple trek is infested with monkeys. They snatch eatables cold drinks googles and other things from the visitors.
Cable car journey which goes through well-forested hillsides is breathtaking. I enjoyed a full view of Haridwar and Ganga river during my journey to hilltop temple.After reaching the temple I had to leave my shoes behind with one of the shops. a number of local sellers are selling prasad outside the temple. Local sellers are selling Ramphal fruit outside the Anjani Devi temple. I had to wait in long line to reach the shrine.Photography is not allowed inside the temple.
