One of the biggest challenges for Indians while traveling is of course visa requirements. Currently, India ranks 71th in the world for travel freedom there are about 25 countries where Indian can travel without a visa and there are about 37 countries where Indians can get a visa on arrival. Until recently, India had one of the toughest visa policies themselves so for Indians also getting a visa is difficult. But one thing I figure out recently that there are a few countries around the world that enable Indian passport holders to get a visa online. Some people call it Electronic visa some others refer to it as Electronic Travel Authorization. These countries have made life easier for a lot of Indians by offering the provision of an E-visa.

List of  Countries granting E-visa or Online to Indian Citizens:

1. UAE:

First, know your visa type from the website then apply. Visa fees keep changing from time to time. You can get E-visa here. a number of conditions have to be fulfilled before applying for E-visa.

2. Malaysia:

Malaysia offers Indian citizens facility of E-visa in order to visit their country. If you are Indian National arriving directly from Singapore, Indonesia or Thailand you can grab a visa on arrival. you must have a confirmed return ticket and sufficient funds to cover your stay. E-visa is valid for 3 months but e-visa holders are entitled to stay up to a maximum of 15 or 30 days for each visit in Malaysia depending upon the type of visa.You can apply for Malasia E-visa on this portal.

3. Australia:

Australia is a popular destination for Indians be it tourism, leisure or visiting relatives. Especially since Australia introduced an online procedure for a visa from that time every Indian have Australia on their radar.The Australian ETA visa is a multiple entry visa allowing a maximum of 3 months per visit. Indians can get an online visa from this web portal.

4. Kenya:

Kenya offers both a visa on arrival as well as e-visa facility to Indian passport holders. Visitors can stay up to a maximum of 90 days under the e-visa and visa on arrival options. There is an online visa application process in Kenya’s Department of Immigration. Indians can grab visa by submitting a visa application at the web portal of that country.

5. Turkey:

All Indian passport holders who wish to travel to Turkey can grab visa online.Applying for a visa to Turkey is quick, simple and 100% online at a cost of 42.70 USD. Turkey will issue travelers an E-Visa that allows you to enter the country for 30 days. The only major requirement for Indian citizens to apply for an eVisa to Turkey is you must have a valid visa or residence permit from the Schengen, USA, UK or Ireland. 6. Singapore:

Singapore tourist E-visa is available at a price of 2499/rs. But Singapore visa can’t be applied using the online facility directly. The facility allows you to submit visa application online through the authorized visa agents of the overseas mission, strategic partners in
Singapore or local contact. Send your details to them and they can apply here for an E-visa.

7. Cambodia:

Cambodia offers E-visa and VOA both facilities to Indians. Cambodia is famous for a number of tourist spots like the world famous Angkor Wat, Bamboo island, Koh Kong conservation, Virachey national park, and Siem Reap. Indians can get E-visa here on this web portal.

8. Hongkong:

Indian nationals may visit Hong Kong visa-free for a stay of up to 14 days. Indian nationals must apply for and successfully complete online pre-arrival registration before they can continue to enjoy the current 14-day visa-free visit or enter Hong Kong during transit (except in direct transit by air and not leaving the airport transit area). Indians have to register at this website before arriving.

9. Sri Lanka:

Sri Lanka offers both a visa on arrival as well as E-visa facility to Indian passport holders. Visitors can stay up to a maximum of 30 days under the e-visa and visa on arrival options. you must have a valid passport and return ticket to get E-visa for Sri Lanka. 10. Taiwan:

Taiwan has a visa process for south-east nationals like Vietnam, Thailand, Philipines, and Indonesia. But now India is also added to this list. Technically this is not visa instead travel authorization certificate. you can get apply for online visa approval here. Before applying for a visa you have to fulfill a number of conditions like passport validity for 6 months, hotel booking etc.

11. Oman:

The capital of Oman is a breath of fresh sea air. Muscat is famous for dazzling souks and tasty seafood, but its terrain brings the biggest thrills. Indian citizens can get E-visa from official Oman’s E-visa website.

12. Qatar:

Qatar offers E- visa, and visa on arrival both facilities to Indian passport holders. Stay should be for a period of 30 days. Qatar has launched Qatar Airways E-visa portal for getting E-visa. Visa on arrival facility is also available At Qatar’s Doha International airport.

13. Vietnam:

Vietnam welcomes Indians with E-visa facility for a maximum stay of 30 days. Vietnam is famous for breathtaking landscapes, world-famous beaches, and friendly hospitable Vietnamese people. You can get the Vietnam e-visa here.

14. Tajikistan:

15. Georgia:

 Indian visitors can obtain the e-visa to enter Georgia which allows a maximum of 30 days stay period. E-visa holders can enter through all border points. You can get Georgia E-visa on this link.

16. Bahrain:

 Bahrain offers the multiple e-visa entries to Indians. Indians can use their valid passport, airline tickets, and sufficient funds to visit Bahrain. Indian can stay for a duration of 14 days up to a maximum of 90 days in a year. E-visa for Bahrain can be applied on this website.

17. Myanmar:

Myanmar offers E-visa facility to India passport holders. The visa holder must arrive via Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw or Mandalay airports which allows him/her to stay up to a maximum of 28 days. If you are coming from the road then checkpoints are Tachileik land border checkpoint, Maywaddy land border checkpoint, and Kawthaung land border checkpoint. Tourist visa cost is $ 50. You should have a valid passport and credit card for getting E-visa. You can apply for Myanmar E-visa on official portal of the country.

18. Zimbabwe:

21. Rwanda:

Rwanda grants E-visa facility to Indian travelers for a maximum stay of up to 30 days. Rwanda also has VOA facility for Indians. Rwanda E-visa portal grants e-visa online to Indians.

22. Sao Tome and Principe:

 Sao Tome and Principe offer the e-visa facility to Indian passport holders. If the visitor already has a Us or Schengen member state visa then he/she can stay up to a maximum of 15 days.

23. Cote d’Ivoire:

 Indian nationals can take advantage of the e-visa facility instead of the visa on arrival facility offered by Cote d’Ivoire. E-visa holders must arrive at Port Bouet airport.

24. Antigua and Barbuda:

25. Gabon:

Gabon is another country to have the E-visa options for Indians. Indians must arrive at Libreville International airport. Indians can stay for a maximum period of 30 days. Gabon also has an E-visa portal for Indians.

26. Angola:

Indian visitors who were granted online pre-visa are then issued visa on arrival at Luanda International airport. Visa is allowed for a maximum stay up to 30 days.

27. Armenia:

Armenia offers both a visa on arrival as well as E-visa facility to Indian passport holders. Visitors can stay up to a maximum of 120 days under the e-visa and visa on arrival options. Official embassy of Armenia states that Indians can get a visa on arrival if they enter the country from the land border. but it’s better if you don’t take risk of visa on arrival because anything can happen at the last moment. So better to keep yourself safe and apply for an online visa on this official website of the country.

28. Azerbaijan:

Azerbaijan welcomes Indian citizen with an E-visa facility for a maximum stay of up to 30 days.Azerbaijan has become a popular destination for religious, health care, and spa tourism. Azerbaijan allowed the release of the electronic visa for the citizens of 93 countries. India is one of the 93 countries whose citizens can get an e-visa, so if you are Indian, you can get your visa in as little as 24 hours. It will cost only $ 45. You can apply for Azerbaijan E- visa here.

29. Benin:

Benin offers both a visa on arrival as well as E-visa facility to Indian passport holders. Visitors can stay for 8 days to a maximum of 30 days under the e-visa and visa on arrival options. you must have a valid passport and return ticket to get E-visa for Sri Lanka. but Indians should have an International Vaccination certificate.

30. Lesotho:

Lesotho offers E-vis a facility to Indians for a period of 30 days. Lesotho is the only country in the world that is entirely above 1000m. Hence it derived its name ‘Kingdom in the sky’. Single entry visa application fees is $150. You should complete other requirements before applying for E-visa like passport validity and other travel documents.
